Founded in Paris in 2025, Altera Films is a production company dedicated to fiction films and internationally oriented documentary projects, with a particular focus on European and West Asian co-productions.

The company follows an editorial line that engages with social, political, and identity-related issues, supporting filmmakers whose work examines power relations, memory, and cultural diversity, while aiming to give voice to underrepresented and marginalized  narratives.
